Seed Catalogues, Companion Planting!

Spring is right around the corner and the Cabin Fever has sat in. Seed Catalogues have began arriving and we have been looking through them. On this day we sat outside on a fabulous Saturday drinking coffee in 60 some degree weather watching the chickens and ducks play while we planned on what we are going to order. Several lists later we are still getting catalogues and still ordering! Hope our gardens turn out good!

Sounds good.
I plan on planting some flowers around here as well. Daron will be coming home to a different house. LOL

We are working on our list of seeds too. Whenever you are ready for a goat or just want to practice milking, etc with them come on over to Hidden Haven. Our goats are Nubian. We also have Nigerian Dwarf. Our Nubian have been handled and loved from day one. They will come right up to you and want to give you kisses. They are very good milkers. If you want to raise a goat from a kid we have plenty of those too. LOL

Thanks SuzyQ for the encouragement! Peggy I will gladly come and help you milk a goat or two one day! I just love goats and I really do want a few of them. ATW the companion planting has just begun this year. Now when I did it a few years back I had alot of success with tomatoes, basil plants and pepper plants. I had huge plants and they produced quite a bit. The basil was so large and smelled so good and the tomatoes bared over and over again. I had plenty of banana peppers also that year. This year we are trying it on a larger level. I would suggest the book "Carrots Love Tomatoes" to you and your wife. Good luck!
